Joaquin & Duncan was founded in January 2000 and initially located in the Bank One building in downtown Fort Worth.  Three months later, the building was destroyed by a tornado and we relocated our offices to Hurst.  We are celebrating our twentieth anniversary as a law firm this year.   

Our Attorneys

Gina Joaquin
​Gina received her law degree from St. Mary's University in 1995 and has been licensed in Texas since 1995.  She holds an AV-5.0 Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubble Peer Review Rating, which is the highest ethical standard and legal ability rating.  She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas, and is also a council member of the Animal Section of the State Bar of Texas.  She is admitted to all Texas courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the United States Fourth, Fifth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal.  She is the co-author of Fraud & Abuse Health Care Handbook and has taught Health Law in a master's degree program at UT-Arlington for seven years.


Todd Duncan
​Todd received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth.  He served as a staff member and Associate Editor for the Texas Wesleyan Law Review.  He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Tarrant County Bar Association. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He has written several articles published by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Texas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
